Ultrastar: What's it all about? Ultrastar is a free, open source PC clone of the incredibly popular Singstar for PlayStation 2. It was originally created by Corvus5, a member of SourceForge.net, where it was first published. Today it has spanned multiple off-shoot projects like Ultrastar Deluxe.
It plays almost exactly like Singstar, with the capacity to add multiple players but with added features, like an increased number of songs (over 1000 avalible), support for a variety of controllers and of course, the ability to create your own songs (see the Creating Songs page for more details).
