Adding Songs:
Adding Songs isn't that hard, in fact it should only take you a moment.
What you need:
- A song's text file (a .txt file with the notes and lyrics that are avalible to download) - The corresponding song's .mp3 file
First, make a folder labelled with the song name. Put everything into the folder, the text file, the mp3, background pictures and videos. Now open the text file and adjust the #MP3, #BACKGROUND, #VIDEO, #COVER functions etc. to match the names of the files that you added. For example if you were making Toxic by Britney Spears you would make the text file look something like this:
#TITLE:Toxic #ARTIST: Britney Spears #MP3: toxic.mp3 (or whatever your mp3 is called) #COVER:toxic.jpg #BACKGROUND:britneyspears.jpg
Your text file doesn't need to look exactly like this, it just needs the information about the title, artist and the mp3. The cover and background functions are just there to make things look nice and won't effect anything.
Once you're happy with your work put the folder in the Songs folder in the Ultrastar directory (usually C:\Program Files\UltraStar\Songs\). Finally, boot up Ultrarstar and see if it worked. Hopefully it does, otherwise go back and check the # categories in the text file and make sure the #MP3 section matches the MP3 name. Also make sure you've put it in the song folder.
